The millennia-old chia seeds were already used by the Mayans as their main foodstuff. At that time the seeds were already prepared as a delicious dish or to accompany a hearty dish with chilli. Chia seeds were also used as a basis for various medicines.
The seeds are always super healthy, they contain a lot of omega-3 (which is especially important for vegetarians and vegans as they do not eat fish), iron, calcium and antioxidants.
So let's get to the healthy snack for in between!
- 4 EL Chia seed
- 1 tablespoon Agave syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 200 ml Almond drink
- 1 tablespoon coconut flakes
- Fresh fruit of your choice (apple, mango, pineapple, blueberries)
Mix the chia seeds with agave syrup, coconut flakes and vanilla in a bowl.
Add the almond drink and leave to soak for about 15 minutes.
- Cool the doors in the refrigerator. Before eating cut fresh fruit into small pieces and place on the pudding.
And the healthy meal is ready!
